What are these?

These are some living forms that you might see

if you looked at a drop of sea water through a microscope.

They are very very tiny, but there are millions, zillions of them

floating around in the ocean.

Some of these tiny life forms are animals, and some of them are plants.

Together they make up PLANKTON.

Plankton provides food for the smallest fish as well as the biggest blue whale.

Plankton is a very important part of the food chain.
