The Discovery Center at Alvarado Elementary School is a child centered environment for students and teachers to explore science concepts in a variety of ways. Our Discovery Center includes four areas:
Our students use their scientific process skills in the Discovery Center to explore the many avenues of inquiry. In this center, our children can do research through the use of technology, books and hands-on practices. Infused in all of the areas is a variety of technology, from computers to scanners, and video to the Quick Take Cameras.
